Mapleton crowded with donations

In western Iowa, with so many donations coming in following last month's tornado there, Mapleton is running out of room. Canned food, shirts and crates of water will no longer be at the community center. The town's moved those donations to the Maple Valley High bus barn. Those looking after it say they are still getting items regularly. They say it's been amazing to see so much support.

"You always think that neighboring communities are going to be there for you in a time of need. But it's just been a little overwhelming as far as the number of communities and the number of people who have come in and offered their thoughts and their services and their prayers," said Dan Dougherty Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto High School Principal.

Mapleton officials say there's one other reason they moved donations to the bus barn. Graduation is coming and they need the space for senior parties.
