DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Dubuque Police have arrested a man in connection with two robberies at Puff-n-Snuff at 1101 Rhomberg Avenue.

Police executed a search warrant at the home of Tobin Gerald McKenzie, 42, on Thursday and found evidence related to two robberies at the business.

The first robbery happened on January 26.  A knife was shown during that robbery.

Then, on Monday, officers were called to store at about 9:00 p.m. for an armed robbery.  The investigation found that a white male entered the store, showed a knife, and stole money from the cash register. The suspect ran on foot.

McKenzie is charged with two counts of Robbery 1st Degree. He is currently being held in the Dubuque County Jail awaiting his initial court appearance.
