Iowa City drug bust nets ecstasy, marijuana, cocaine and pills

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Iowa City Police say a drug bust on Wednesday netted ecstasy, marijuana, cocaine and prescription pills.

Iowa City Police executed a narcotics search warrant at 3672 Glastonbury Street at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

During their search, officers found 22 ecstasy pills, about 10 grams of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine, 130 unidentified prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.  They say the ecstasy pills tested positive for methamphetamine.

Jerry Richard Riles, 23, was arrested and is charged with a controlled substance violation, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a drug tax stamp violation.

Police say Riles was previously convicted of possession of marijuana in 2006.
