Traffic stop turns into meth bust in Washburn

WASHBURN (KWWL) -

A traffic violation led to meth bust in Washburn Wednesday.  Black Hawk County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle at Highway 218 and Miller Creek Road.

During the stop, deputies found suspected meth in the vehicle. 40-year-old Gregory Meyers of La Porte City was arrested.

Authorities also investigated Meyers' home. They say there they found items to manufacture meth . Meyers faces multiple drug charges.

He was taken to the Black Hawk County Jail on $205,000 dollar bond.
