Holdgrafer pleads guilty, sentenced to 50 years in prison

An Andrew woman charged in the death of her adopted son has pleaded guilty.

Danielle Holdgrafer, 29, was originally charged with first degree murder, child endangerment causing death and two counts of child endangerment causing bodily injury.

The murder charge was dropped in October.

Holdgrafer appeared in Jackson County court on Friday and pleaded guilty to child endangerment causing death.  She was sentenced to no more than 50 years in prison.

Police say 4-year-old Collin Holdgrafer, drowned in a bathtub on June 12, 2010.

Danielle's husband, 31-year-old Andrew Holdgrafer, died on Sept. 4 of an apparent heart attack while working out in his garage.
