CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

On Thursday, the Cedar Rapids Police Department asked for the public's help in finding a man they say stole tools from a local business.  He has been arrested.

Sgt. Cristy Hamblin says a man walked into Acme Tools at 1943 Blairs Ferry Road NE on March 22 around 10:05 a.m. and walked out with a circular saw and two drill bits without paying.  She says the stolen tools are valued at $143.

After receiving three tips on the Crime Stoppers phone line, they arrested Robert Glubka, 46, of 3805 Yellow Pine Ct. NE.  He's charged with fifth degree theft. He was also arrested on a Johnson County warrant.  Gluba was taken to the Linn County Jail.

This was the second time Acme Tools has provided video to the Cedar Rapids Police Department.  On August 13, 2010, photos were sent to the media of a person who stole items in July 2010. That person saw himself on TV and turned himself in to police that afternoon.

If you have information regarding any crime, call Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME. If the information you give, leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a reward. All calls are anonymous.
