Black Hawks take fight for playoffs into final weekend

With just a four point lead over Youngstown in the Eastern Conference, the Black Hawks are taking the fight for the final playoff spot into the final weekend of the regular season.

The Black Hawks host Green Bay on Friday night and Dubuque on Saturday night in "Party Town".  The puck is scheduled to drop for both games at 7:05 p.m.

Meanwhile, down in Ohio, Youngstown also finishes their regular season at home, hosting Indiana and Chicago.

Waterloo has a record of 23-28-7, while Youngstown has a record of 21-30-7.

One win by the Black Hawks this weekend would go a long way for securing that final playoff spot, but fans in "Party Town" would love to see them head into the playoffs on a five game win streak that started on April Fool's Day with a win over Cedar Rapids.

If Youngstown would pull even over the weekend, both teams would have identical records and an even head-to-head mark. The Black Hawks currently hold the next tie-breaker which is goal differential.
