Black Hawks beat rival Cedar Rapids 2-1

WATERLOO (KWWL)- The Waterloo Black Hawks finally found a way to beat Cedar Rapids.

And they did it when it mattered the most.

The Black Hawks got a third period goal from Justin Kloos to break a 1-1 tie, and knock off the Rough Riders 2-1 in front of a large crowd at Young Arena.

With the win, the Black Hawks pull two points ahead of Youngstown, who lost to Team USA 1-0 Friday night, for the sixth and final playoff spot in the East.

C.J. Motte had 31 saves for the Black Hawks.  Waterloo will play Muskegon Saturday night.
