DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Travelers flying out of the Dubuque Regional Airport will soon have another option to get to and from Chicago.

American Eagle Airlines will add a fourth flight to and from Chicago O'Hare International Airport on April 5.

"We're really delighted to offer additional air service to our passengers," Acting Dubuque Regional Airport Manager Todd Dalsing said in a written statement. "This was a team effort, with the City of Dubuque, Dubuque County, Dubuque Chamber, our local, state and federal legislators, Iowa Department of Transportation and the Dubuque Area business community all placing additional air service as a priority."

A ribbon cutting for the new flight will be held on April 5, at 1:00 p.m. in the main terminal building.
