North Butler High School shows off their school spirit

GREENE (KWWL) -- North Butler High School has a lot to cheer about.

For the first time in history the school has two wrestling state qualifiers.  Senior Casey Krull and Freshman Cody Nelson both participated in the tournament.

Kevin Clipperton, girls basketball coach, also had a lot to celebrate as his team won their 7th consecutive conference championship.

"It has been the kids who have worked hard throughout the seven years and I have been blessed with great kids," said Clipperton.

North Butler's track season is underway.  Senior standout Morgan Steere participated in the indoor state championships at UNI this year.  Steere place 6th in the shot put.
