U.S. has more chronic disease than U. K., despite spending

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Despite spending more on healthcare each year, the U.S. has higher rates of chronic disease than England.

A new study compared the health of Americans and English for all age groups, focusing on conditions like obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol.

With the exception of high blood pressure, Americans had more disease and higher mortality rates for every age group.
