Hawkeye Women fall to Ohio State 71-61 in Big Ten Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA (KWWL)--The Iowa Hawkeye women slowed down the powerful low post game of Ohio State, but the Buckeyes' Brittany Robinson torched the Hawks for seven three pointers and 23 points in a 71-61 OSU victory.

Jaime Printy led the Hawkeyes with 19 points, unfortunately the rest of the Hawks shot 14 of 50.  Iowa falls to 22-8 for the season but should still pull down an NCAA at-large bid.

    The UNI en's basketball team holds off Valparaiso 81-76 to snap a seven game losing streak and win its first Missouri Valley game of the season. The Panthers got career scoring games out of freshmen Tywhon Pickford (23 points/9 rebounds) and Austin Phyfe (20 points/8 rebounds). Phyfe a freshman from Waverly-Shell Rock got the start tonight ahead of senior Bennett Koch.
