WATERLOO (KWWL) -
The attorney for a former Waterloo West teacher accused of having inappropriate contact with a student has asked for the case to be dismissed.
Court records show that 53-year-old Larry Twigg faces six counts of Lascivious Conduct with a Minor.
Police say that Twigg had a 17-year-old male student come to his house in 2009 and 2010 and perform illegal acts.
Twigg was not present in court Friday morning, but his attorney, James Metcalf, argued for the dismissal and entered a psychiatric report done by Dr. Taylor. That report is sealed.
Metcalf expects Judge Nathan Callahan to rule either Friday afternoon or Monday.
