DIRW: Neckline Slimmer

HUDSON (KWWL)-- Many of us would like the results of plastic surgery, without actually having to go under the knife.

The Neckline Slimmer claims to firm, lift and smooth skin without expensive surgery in just two minutes a day. But can it really reverse the signs of aging?

We asked 55-year-old Judie Raymond of Hudson to test it out.

"I think I'm one of the many that has a problem with saggy skin in the neck, and if this works, it'll be good to see it firm up," said Judie Raymond.

We left the Neckline Slimmer with Judie for more than a week. Then we went back for a follow-up.

"When I first started using it, I got really sore on my chest because that's where I would put it," said Raymond.

Judie Raymond said the pain got better with use. She used it everyday for at least two minutes per the product instructions. But overall, she wasn't impressed with the Neckline Slimmer.

"This is a letdown," she said.

Raymond didn't notice any significant changes, and she said she wouldn't spend money on the device.

"Knowing what I know now, I think you could do the same neck muscles without this little device. It's mainly just flexing the neck muscles, and you could do that yourself just by putting your hand and forcing your head down," said Raymond.

While the Neckline Slimmer comes with different coils for resistance. Judie Raymond said the strongest one wasn't enough for her. It didn't give her the results of plastic surgery without the surgery.

"Maybe after I use it longer, maybe I'll see miraculous results, but I highly doubt it," said Judie Raymond.

Judie does plan to keep using the Neckline Slimmer to see if maybe in a couple months she'll have better results. But for now, Judie gives the Neckline Slimmer a "D." Based on her experience, she said it's not worth the $20.
