UI football tickets rising for fall season

IOWA CITY (KWWL)-- It'll cost you a few more bucks to watch the Hawkeye football team in person this fall.

On Tuesday, the University of Iowa announced a $2 increase per game for the general public and UI faculty and staff. That means tickets for the seven home games will cost $374 for the season. UI faculty and staff will pay $304.

Season tickets for University of Iowa students are increasing by $1 per game, making season tickets add up to $175.

If available, single game tickets will be sold for $70 for Iowa's game against Big Ten Conference rival Michigan; $65 for Iowa's games against Indiana, Northwestern and Michigan State; and $57 for Iowa's non-conference games against Tennessee Tech, Pittsburgh and Louisiana-Monroe.
