Former paralegal rejects Floyd Co. job offer

CHARLES CITY (KWWL) -- A former paralegal who filed a lawsuit against Floyd County won't be returning to its payroll.  Theresa Farmer's attorney says Farmer is declining a county settlement offer for reinstatement.  Farmer sued the county, alleging sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation. Farmer worked as a paralegal for former County Attorney Jesse Marzen from 2007 to 2009. She says she had to endure his crude comments, his touching her and other misbehavior.  Marzen lost his job when the Iowa Supreme Court suspended his law license for 6 months.
