Harlem Wizards will help benefit North Cedar School Tuesday

Cedar Falls (KWWL)

The cause is great and yes, there will be some great basketball players on the floor of the Cedar Falls High School gymnasium Tuesday night, February 22.  Unfortunately, none of them will be playing for  the ‘celebrity' home team, affectionately known as ‘The Cedar Falls Incredibles.'  The Incredibles, made up of local 'celebrities,' will take on the traveling Harlem Wizards in a benefit basketball game Tuesday night at Cedar Falls High School.

There will some real players on the floor, but they will be representing the traveling team, the well-known Harlem Wizards. The North Cedar PTA is sponsoring the charity basketball game to benefit North Cedar Elementary School. As you know, the North Cedar area of Cedar Falls is still battling back and recovering from the devastating flood of 2008.

While it may not be an example of basketball at its finest, it's all for a great cause; a benefit for North Cedar Elementary School in Cedar Falls. Organizers hope you'll take the time to come out to Cedar Falls High School gymnasium Tuesday, February 22. Tip off at 7:15, as The Cedar Falls Incredibles welcome the antics and comedic basketball skills of the always entertaining Harlem Wizards.

Doors will open at 6:30 and tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are also available right now at Iowa Sports Supply. Call North Cedar Elementary School for more information.
