"Junkyard Training" using everyday objects, catches on

LONDON, ENGLAND (KWWL) -- An old junkyard in West London is not the first place you'd expect to find the latest fitness equipment.

But this is where personal trainer Jon Denoris comes to find the tools of his trade.

Denoris has devised a new type of fitness program called "Junkyard Training" which uses everyday objects.

The trend is catching on, and despite it being new to the people trying it out.

The junkyard training inventor says it's actually based on an old workout routine.

I'm quite into the history of exercise and even if you go back to a hundred years or so there's evidence that people who are trainers at that sort of time period were using tools like this to train," he said.

No word on if he recommends clients get a tetanus shot.
