DES MOINES (KWWL)-- The first round of 2A heated up quickly. At 103, West Delaware's Zach Less had a 10-4 decision over Austin Bainbridge. Less's teammate, Jared Hoefer followed suit with this come from behind 7-6 decision.

At 171, Sam Lahr also moves on with a 6-5 decision.  Five West Delaware Hawks are moving on.

Defending 2A team champion Denver-Tripoli trying to score big points with its seven qualifiers.

Dylan Peters, the defending 112 pound champion, opens with a pin. Also moving on for the Titans, Brandon Sorensen at 130. Sorenson gets a 16-6 decision major decision. Five wrestlers advance for Denver-Tripoli.

And from Independence, Nick Fuller moved on with a 9-2 decision in the 160 pound weight class.

At 189, the Mustangs' Blaze Cabel remains unbeaten with a first period pin. Independence advances five wrestlers.

At 285, Two-time defending champion and Hawkeye recruit, Austin Blythe of Williamsburg opens with a first period pin.
