WATERLOO (KWWL) -- A new study finds eating berries may lower your risk of Parkinson's Disease.

Harvard researchers tracked the consumption of berries and other foods rich in flavonoids among a large group of men and women.

20 years later, men who consumed the most flavonoids were 40-percent less likely to develop Parkinson's than those who consumed the least.

The beneficial effect was not as pronounced among women.
