Cedar Falls couple arrested for drugs, child endangerment
CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- Police received information there was illegal drug trafficking at 2216 Lincoln #15 in Cedar Falls and served a search warrant there on Thursday morning.
Police say there marijuana in the home and evidence that the marijuana was being distributed.
Police also say the marijuana was in plain site and easily accessible to two young children living in the home. Those children were removed and are now with the Department of Human Services.
Police have charged 25-year-old Troy Sallis with Possession With Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Drug Tax Stamp Violation, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Violation of a No Contact Order and Child Endangerment.
Police charged 25-year-old Ashley Smith with Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Aiding and Abetting a No Contact Order Violation and Child Endangerment.
Both are being held in the Black Hawk County Jail.
