WASHINGTON, D.C. (KWWL) -- The First Lady says her husband has stopped smoking and is very proud he's kicked the habit nearly a year now.
President Barack Obama has discussed his struggles with nicotine addiction, acknowledging in June 2009 that he still sneaked the occasional puff.
The White House addressed the topic in December, when Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said he hasn't seen Obama smoke in nine months.
But Tuesday, Michelle Obama told reporters officially her husband has stopped smoking.
