UPDATE: Bond set at two million for man accused of killing brother

ALBIA (KWWL) -- Bond has been set at $2 million for an Albia man accused of shooting and killing his younger brother.

Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies says 73-year old Richard Davis is being held on first-degree murder in the death of his brother 60-year old Gary Davis, a local doctor.

Davis was arraigned on Sunday.

Sheriff's deputies say Gary Davis was shot several times in the driveway of his Albia home just after noon on Saturday.

He later died at a hospital.

Richard Davis was arrested about an hour after the shooting.
