IOWA CITY (KWWL) --  A person was bit by a dog at Thornberry Off-Leash Dog Park in Iowa City, now officials are looking for information about that dog.

Iowa City Animal Services says it happened around 2 p.m. Thursday. Animals Services needs to verify rabies vaccination information for the dog, which is described as an overweight black and white husky.

The dog was with a white male who had facial hair and may have been driving a black Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Officials want the owner to provide information so the victim can avoid having rabies prophylaxis treatment.  Anyone with information can call Animal Services at 356-5295 or the Iowa City Police at 356-5275.
