Three arrested in connection with Marion robberies

MARION (KWWL) -- Marion Police have arrested three people in connection with two burglaries.

Officers served search warrants at 900 S. 7th St. in Marion and 700-15 41st Ave. Dr. SW in Cedar Rapids at around 11:30 am Friday morning. 

Police arrested Jesse Raymond Akers, 18, of 900 S. 7th St. in Marion, Curtis Joel Grandon, 19, of 1150 Shamrock Woods in Marion and Hannah Elise Walton, 20, of 900 S. 7th St. in Marion.  They are charged with Burglary for allegedly stealing cigarettes and alcohol from the Guppy's on the Go at 680 Lindale Dr. on December 7, 2010.

Akers and Walton are also charged with Burglary for allegedly stealing a video game system, video games, and cash from a residence at 905 7th St. in Marion on January 3, 2011.

All three were taken to the Linn County Jail.
