Iowa candidates funded by Minnesota backed PAC

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KWWL) --  A Minnesota Republican funneled $34,000 to Iowa conservative groups and state-level candidates during the final push before the 2010 elections.

Former Minnesota Governor and rumored Presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty provided the money through the Freedom First PAC-Iowa. The contributions were more than double those of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. Much of the money was raised through large contributions from Minnesota donors.
