NU High music video gets international attention

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- Some students at NU High School in Cedar Falls have a global claim to fame.

It's a music video students put together.  It's based on a popular song and dance in Taiwan called Bo Bee.

The idea came from a student, Wendell Tsai, who recently came to the US from Taiwan.

"At first I was just thinking it would be kind of cool if my friends know more about where I'm from, Taiwan. So, it would be sharing my culture with them and I was thinking that will be enough. But what I was doing was introducing Taiwan to the entire world," Tsai says.

International fame is right because the student film was shown on TV in Taiwan. That's because they entered it in a Taiwanese competition and won.
