WATERLOO (KWWL) -- The families of four motorcyclists killed on an Iowa interstate have filed lawsuits against the man charged in the crash.
22-year-old Andrew Schlichtemeier of Nebraska is charged with four counts of vehicular homicide. The crash happened on Interstate 29 near Little Sioux in August.
The families are suing Schlichtemeier for an unspecified amount of money.
His criminal trial is slated for next month.
