Convicted stalker gets nearly five years in prison

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- A Cedar Rapids man convicted of stalking was sentenced to nearly five years in federal prison on Tuesday.

Clayton Miller, 35, pleaded guilty on Sept. 21, to one count of Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition.  Parole officers found a .22 caliber revolver and ammunition in his home on March 15.

He was convicted of felony Stalking in Jefferson County on Feb. 25, 2008.

Miller was sentenced to 57 months in prison, a special assessment of $100 and three-years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.

Miller is currently serving a state sentence.
