Panthers upset by Missouri 3-2

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- The UNI volleyball team gave it their best effort, twice coming back from a 1 set deficit, but fell to Missouri in the end 3-2.

The Tigers overcame a 5-1 deficit in the first game and used a 10-1 run to rally ahead for a 25-19 team.  UNI turned the tables in game 2 overcoming an early 7-1 deficit to rally to a 25-17 victory.  The Panthers led much of the 3rd game before relinquishing the lead late which led to a 26-24 loss.  A back and forth 4th game found UNI on top in the end 28-26, but the Panthers couldn't put it together in the 5th and deciding game.  Missouri finished the final set on an 8-3 run to end the match with a 15-10 win.
