Panther offense stumbles as season ends with 14-7 loss to Lehigh

Posted:

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- UNI managed just one touchdown as the Panthers took an early exit from the playoffs with a 14-7 loss to visiting Lehigh.

UNI gained a season low 251 yards of total offense and fell despite holding a 7-0 halftime lead.  Lehigh took the edge with 2 third quarter touchdown passes by Chris Lum, while the Mountain Hawk defense kept the Panthers off the board in the 4th quarter.

The end is a bit of a disappointment for the MVC champion Panthers who finish the season with a 7-5 overall record.
