CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- The mother of a two year old girl that died in 2008 was sentenced to five more years in prison on drug charges in Linn County Tuesday morning.

Brianna Volesky was in court Tuesday morning to plead guilty to one count of Possession of Controlled Substance Precursors and three counts of Pharmacy Purchase Greater Than 7,500 mg of Pseudoephedrine.

Volesky was sentenced to five years in prison which will run concurrently with the 10 years she was sentenced to in October after being convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter and Child Endangerment in connection with the death of her two-year old daughter Skylar Inman.  In all, Volesky will spend up to 15-years in prison.

Volesky's former boyfriend, Lee Muldoon, was also sentenced in October on child neglect and involuntary manslaughter charges in connection with the Skylar's death. Volesky accepted a plea deal in exchange for her testimony against Muldoon.

Muldoon received five years in prison for the involuntary manslaughter conviction and 10-years in prison on the child neglect conviction. The two sentences will run concurrently.
