CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- The mother of a two-year old girl that died in 2008 was scheduled to plead guilty to drug charges on Wednesday, but court officials say that hearing has been pushed back to Friday.

According to a court representative, Brianna Volesky, the mother of Skylar Inman, will plead guilty and be sentenced on drug charges in Linn County District Court, but for unknown reasons it has been delayed..

Volesky is charged with one count each of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of precursors, and seven counts of violation of pseudoephedrine restrictions.

Volesky and her former boyfriend, Lee Muldoon, were sentenced in October on child neglect and involuntary manslaughter charges in connection with the Skylar's death.  Volesky accepted a plea deal in exchange for her testimony against Muldoon.

Each will spend up to five years in prison for the involuntary manslaughter conviction and 10-years in prison on the child neglect conviction. The two sentences will run concurrently.

Volesky faces up to 25 additional years in prison on the drug charges.
