Waterloo's Bryan Earnest to emcee major midwest cancer summit

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Bryan Earnest of Waterloo will be the emcee for the American Cancer Society's Midwest Division Leadership Summit to be held November 11-12, 2010 in Minneapolis, MN at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel. The two-day event will feature nearly 800 cancer-fighting volunteers and American Cancer Society staff.

"I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part of this terrific event," said Earnest, a member of the American Cancer Society National Board of Directors and a member of the Midwest Division Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society. "This summit brings together so many dedicated people to share ideas, gather information, and help create a world with less cancer and more birthdays."

The 2010 Midwest Division Leadership Summit will feature national leaders of the American Cancer Society such as Chief Mission Officer Terry Music, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Otis Brawley, as well as Midwest Division CEO, Jari Allen.

"To meet and hear our national leaders speak about the accomplishments of this outstanding organization and inspire volunteers and staff to do even more in the fight against cancer, it really makes me proud to be a part of this meaningful event.

This is the second year in a row that Earnest, President of ME&V Advertising and Consulting in Waterloo, has been chosen to be the emcee.
