Black Hawks shut out Chicago for 4th straight win

Posted:

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- The Waterloo Black Hawks stepped on the gas in the first period and never looked back as they posted a 4-0 victory over visiting Chicago for their 4th straight win.

The Black Hawks' Jacob MacDonald opened the scoring in the first period.  MacDonald's initial shot was blocked by a Steel defender, however he grabbed the rebound, put it top shelf for the 1-0 first period lead.  Andrew Prochno followed with a one timer through the five hole of Chicago goaltender Connor Wilson.

Tyson Fulton added the third tally early in the second period, while Andrew Panzerella put one home on the power play in the 3rd to set the final margin.

C.J. Motte was solid in net stopping all 27 of Chicago's shots.  The win was Motte's 4th of the young season.
