CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -- A Cedar Rapids man wanted in connection with a fatal crash with a bicyclist has turned himself in.

An arrest warrant was issued Thursday for Robert Harold Fleming, 56, in connection with the crash that killed Susan Desotel, 51, in July.

According to police, Desotel was southbound on C Street SW at around 6:05 p.m. on July 29, when she was hit by a pick-up that was northbound on C Street SW and turning left onto Wilson Avenue Drive SW.

Police say Fleming was the driver of the truck.

According to police, Fleming has two addresses, one in Cedar Rapids and one in Alburnett.  When officers couldn't find him at either they issued the warrant.

Sgt. Joe Clark says Fleming turned himself in around 11:30 p.m. Thursday after friends told him he was wanted.

Fleming has been charged with failure to yield and no insurance.
