UPDATE: Third teen arrested for burglary and vandalism in Manchester

MANCHESTER (KWWL) -- Manchester police have arrested a third teen in a three-week investigation of a vandalism spree and car burglary.

Police have arrested 17-year-old Brandon Williams, also known as Brandon Thibadeau and charged him with 15 counts of Third Degree Burglary, 15 counts of 2nd Degree Theft, and 12 counts of 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief.

Police also arrested 17-year-old Malachi Montes of Earlville. He is charged with 16 counts of Third Degree Burglary, 15 counts of 2nd Degree Theft and 12 counts of 2nd Degree Mischief.

On Nov. 9, 19-year-old Cody Letts of Wintrhop was also arrested for 3rd Degree Burglary and 2nd Degree Theft in the string of thefts from parked vehicles. Complaints allege that Letts committed several thefts and aided Williams and Montes in taking items from unlocked parked cars during the past few weeks.Letts is currently being held in the Delaware County Jail.

According to police, the two teens entered parked cars and removed cash, electronic devices and other items worth more than $4,000. Police also say the two spray painted 12 houses, cars and sidewalks in the S. Brewer and S. Tama Street area with damage estimates more than $6,000.

Police recovered some of the stolen items at a home in rural Delaware County. Police are continuing with this investigation and there may be other arrests.

Williams and Montes were taken to a Juvenile detention facility. Police are asking for the charges to be waived to adult court.
