Fayette County pastor pleads guilty in court

WEST UNION (KWWL) -- A Fayette County pastor charged with several sex crimes against a 13-year-old girl pleaded guilty in court on Wednesday.

Timothy Edwin Parker, 40, a pastor at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Westgate, was charged in August with one count of Third Degree Sexual Abuse and two counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child following a week-long investigation.

Parker was then charged in September with four counts of Violating a Protective Order after he reportedly had Ronnie Lloyd Koch, 44, of Fredericksburg, mail letters to the alleged victim. Koch had visited Parker in jail for a professional visit.

Koch, is charged with two counts of Aiding and Abetting to a Violation of an Order of Protection. His trial is set for Dec. 15.

On Wednesday, Parker appeared in court and pleaded guilty to two counts of Third Degree Sexual Abuse. His sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m.
