WILLIAMSBURG (KWWL) -- Authorities say they have arrested a man in connection with two bank robberies in Williamsburg this week.

Officials arrested 36-year-old Ryan Randles.  He has no permanent address.

Police believe Randles is the man who held up the Best Western Motel Tuesday.  The next day, a man also held up the County Bank. Authorities believe the two robberies are connected.

The robberies happened when Randles was staying at a home in Williamsburg.  He was arrested at a hotel in Des Moines Thursday night, after police issued a nationwide alert for the vehicle he was driving.
The vehicle was located in Des Moines Thursday afternoon.

Randles also goes by the name Joe Goldman, and Ryan Goldman.

The investigation by the Williamsburg Police Department, the Iowa County Sheriff's Office and the FBI resulted in this arrest.
