Toyota recalling 1.5 million cars

TOKYO, JAPAN (KWWL) -- Toyota is recalling more than 1.5 million cars.

Lexus and Toyota vehicles are being recalled because of brake fluid and fuel pump problems.

The company says small amounts of brake fluid can lead from the master cylinder, triggering the brake warning light.

The recall includes the 2005 & 2006 Avalon, 2004 through 2006 non-hybrid Highlander and Lexus RX330, and the 2006 Lexus GS300, IS250, and IS350 models.

Owners will be notified by mail in the coming weeks telling them how to get their vehicles fixed.
