Hawkeye fans look to honor Norm Parker

IOWA CITY (KWW)-- Iowa defensive coordinator Norm Parker has not been with the Hawkeyes for most of the season but he is not forgotten.

Parker is in a rehabilitation center learning how to get around without his right foot, which was amputated about a month ago due to complications from diabetes.

There is a good chance Parker could be back for the Hawkeyes' game against Michigan State on Oct. 30.

The fans haven't forgotten about Norm Parker --- there is a movement started on the internet to get the Hawkeye fans at Kinnick this Saturday to scream or chant "Norm" on every Wisconsin third down. Fans are encouraged to bring signs and do whatever is necessary to get the entire stadium rocking.
