IOWA CITY (KWWL) -- An Iowa City woman is facing drug charges after police arrested her following a criminal mischief complaint from Washington County.

Police say Joyce Anne Oxford, 40, was stopped in the 2100 block of South Gilbert Street at around 2:30 Wednesday morning after they received an attempt to locate request from Washington County.  Officers saw her driving northbound in the southbound lane.

Iowa City Police say they found a glass pipe with marijuana residue in the driver's side door after she consented to a search of her car.

Officers also determined that Oxford was under the influence of marijuana and was not able to operate a vehicle safely.

She was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated or Drugged and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says they were looking for Oxford because of an incident that happened at Riverside Casino.

They say they got a call from a semi driver who was parked in the casino parking lot.  He told dispatchers that he had just received a call from his ex-wife, Oxford, saying that her and her boyfriend were going to come and "stomp" him.

The sheriff's office says that Oxford and Terry Lee Griffin, of Iowa City, showed up at the casino and broke out the passenger side window and tail lights of his truck.

Griffin was arrested on scene, but Oxford took off back to Iowa City.

Griffin is charged with Criminal Mischief.
