Six first half touchdowns push CF over West 49-12

Posted:

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -- The Cedar Falls Tigers found the end zone six times in the first half to roll over the West High Wahawks 49-12.

The Tigers were without running back Barkley Hill who was sidelined with an undisclosed injury.  Back-up Shawn Hagarty filled in nicely capping a run of 43 yards, followed by a 4 yard jaunt into the end zone for the 7-0 lead.

Cedar Falls' second touchdown came when West's Austin McMahan threw an errant pass into the hands of defensive back Ben Challgren who motored 71 yards for the score, and the Tigers never looked back, cruising to the victory while pushing their unblemished record to 7-0.
