Iowa overwhelms Penn State 24-3

IOWA CITY (KWWL) – The streak goes on as #17 Iowa overwhelmed 22nd ranked Penn State 24-3, as the Hawkeyes haven't lost a home game to the Nittany Lions in 11 years.

Ricky Stanzi led the Hawkeye attack, throwing for 227 yards and one touchdown, while picking up another on a quarterback sneak in the second quarter.

Defensive back Shaun Prater capped the scoring in the 4th picking off Penn State quarterback Robert Bolden, returning it 33 yards for the score with under 2 minutes remaining.

The 21 point victory was the largest margin ever for the Hawks surpassing a 19 point win back in 1930.
