WATERLOO (KWWL) -- A Waterloo man is facing numerous charges including having a gun within 1,000 feet of a school.

Black Hawk County deputies executed a search warrant at 155 Harrison Street in Waterloo on Thursday after they got a tip about drug trafficking taking place there.

Deputies arrested Diamond Duckings, 25, after they found marijuana, evidence of marijuana distribution and a .45 caliber handgun with a loaded magazine inside.

Duckings is charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute while in possession of a firearm within 1000 feet of a school, Drug Tax Stamp Violation, and Child Endangerment.

Duckings is currently being held in the Black Hawk County Jail.
