Flood recovery funds for U of I

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -- The University of Iowa is getting more funding to help recover from the Floods of 2008.

The school has been awarded $152 million dollars from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

$124 million will go to the Voxman Music School, benefiting Hancher Auditorium and the Clapp Recital Hall.

Another $27 million dollars will go towards the art building, with $1.5 million dollars to cover costs at the power plant.
