Beckman over Cascade, 41-8

CASCADE (KWWL) -- In 2A district four, a couple of long time rivals met on Friday.

It's Dyersville Beckman with a 2-2 overall record visiting winless Cascade. Despite qualifying for the playoffs for the first time in two decades last season. This season Cascade was looking for their first win of 2010.

In the first quarter, Cascade stops Beckman in the redzone. Connor Golden with the pass intended for Robbie Anstoetter and it's picked off by Nick Rea. But they were unable to score.

In the second quarter, Dyersville converting two 4th downs on the same drive. Kirby Kendrick rumbles a 10 yards touchdown. Its 7-0, Cascade.

Kendrick plays both sides of the ball. Next drive he has a pick on the 50 yard line.

Just before the end of the second, Cascade's Derek Hammann with the scramble. He takes it in himself. It's 21-8 after a two point conversion.

Beckman wins it 41-8.
