Iowa gets federal funds to deter drunken driving

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KWWL) -- The state will get nearly $2 million from the federal government in the fight against drunken driving.  $1.8 million will go to the Iowa Traffic Safety Bureau from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  It will be spent on educational programs and other areas to deter drunken and impaired driving in Iowa.
