Coralville man busted for keeping a drug house

CORALVILLE (KWWL) -- A Coralville man faces several charges after police say he was keeping a drug house.

Police performed a consent search on 425 6th Avenue, apartment D, in Coralville during a drug investigation.

During the search, officers say they found saleable quantities of marijuana, scales, packaging material, cash and other items they say are used in the sale, use or distribution of illegal drugs.

They also say they found heat-seal wrap and shrink wrap in the closet.

Officers also say they found a camera belonging to Lucas Roth Gregory, 21, the resident of the apartment.

According to officers, pictures on the camera showed large amounts of cash and drugs.

Officers say that when they began looking at the pictures, Gregory grabbed the camera and began deleting pictures.

Gregory is charged with Keeping a Drug House, Controlled Substance Violation and Preventing Apprehension/Obstructing Prosecution.
