Early voting in Iowa starts Thursday

WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Thursday, September 23rd is the first day Iowans can vote by absentee ballot in the November election.

Iowa Secretary of State Michael Mauro county auditor offices have received more than 60,000 requests for absentee ballots so far.  37,200 are Democratic, 14,200 are Republican.

Registered voters can cast ballots at their county auditor's office, through mail, or at select satellite voting stations.
